Selsey Lifeboat Station is open to the public throughout the year, (subject to operational requirements), and visitors are welcome. Opening hours for the boathouse are Monday-Friday 0900-1700hrs (closed for lunch 1300-1400hrs) and Saturday-Sunday 1000-1600hrs (closed for lunch 1200-1400hrs). Visits by organised groups are also welcome by arrangement. We are also pleased to visit other organisations to give explanatory talks about the purpose, operation, and the future of the RNLI. Selsey Lifeboat Shop - Visit the Selsey Lifeboat Shop next to the Lifeboat Station in the Kingsway, Selsey and through your shopping you will be making a vital contribution to the work of the RNLI as 100% of all profits go directly towards saving lives at sea. Hours of opening are Tuesday - Sunday 10.30 a.m until 4 p.m. Monday 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. Telephone 01243 604936.
The Selsey Lifeboat Museum is open at various times during the summer months. Pictures and artefacts, plus the history of Selsey RNLI Lifeboat Station; video room, showing R.N.L.I. films, plus our own films taken on rescues being carried out by Selsey Lifeboats. Admission FREE.
