The British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST) was the first training establishment to offer professional qualifications in Sound and Voice Therapy. Sound Therapy is a holistic therapy method which combines therapeutic sound and voicework with self reflection, mindfulness and self awareness to improve health and wellbeing. Our courses allow students to become registered practitioners with an accredited diploma and can lead to a successful career as a qualified sound therapist or voice therapist. We offer courses that allow practitioners to use sound therapy techniques 1:1 or in group sessions. The BAST method of sound therapy has been proven to be 64% more relaxing than other general relaxation techniques, and can be used as part of other therapies, health improvement strategies or wellness programmes as well as stand alone. Courses run throughout the year and are held at the University of Chichester, Bognor Regis Campus. You can request a prospectus via our website.
